The Good German (2006)

The Good German (2006) is an American film directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, and Tobey Maguire. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Joseph Kanon.

In Berlin at the end of World War II, journalist Jake Geismar (George Clooney) investigates the case of his former lover, Lena Brandt (Cate Blanchett). Her husband has disappeared and is wanted by both the United States and the USSR.
