El retorno del rey

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is the third film in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson and based on the third book in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It had a budget of $94 million and was filmed from October 11, 1999, to December 22, 2000.

It deals with the final part of the journey undertaken by the nine companions (of whom only eight remain) to save Middle-earth from the darkness imposed by Sauron. In this part, the fate of all the inhabitants of these lands is decided.

The first two films were The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, although this film includes some events from the previous book, The Two Towers.
