Thor: Ragnarok 2017

Thor: Ragnarok is a 2017 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. It is a sequel to Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. It is the seventeenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fifth installment of Phase Three.

It was released internationally on October 24, 2017, and in the United States on November 3, 2017. The film is directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, with Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) discovers that his malevolent brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) has taken over his home, but that won’t be his biggest problem.

Our hero quickly becomes a prisoner on the other side of the universe without his hammer and must race against time to save Asgard from Ragnarok, an event that marks the end of Asgardian civilization, set in motion by the evil Hela (Cate Blanchett).

However, before saving his home, Thor must survive a dangerous gladiatorial tournament where he will face his former ally and fellow Avenger, the incredible Hulk. Taika Waititi takes the reins of this project, giving it a fresh visual and musical style compared to its two predecessors.
